The Origin Story
C.H.A.S.E ATHLETICS became official in 2021 but the journey began way back in the summer of 2008 at Centenary College of Louisiana.
Chase Adams committed to the smallest D1 college in the nation prior to having a remarkable standout senior year (2006) as the starting point guard at Mount Saint Joseph High school in Baltimore, Maryland. That team had an historical run that still holds 20+ years later and set the bar high for the generations to follow. That season they ranked as high as 5th in the nation, setting a Maryland State record 38-1: Gonzaga Classic Champions, St. Benedictine Tournament Champions (MVP), Baltimore Catholic League Champions, MIAA-A Conference Champions, and runners-up In the post season Alhambra Catholic Invitational. Entering college at 17 he surely had been battle tested, well coached and confident for the next stage of his career. After the first two years of highs and lows, he grew tired of the rollercoaster ride, and made the bold decision to put matters into his own hands that summer. Which led to a drastic change in not only his approach to training but what it actually takes to stand out and make a breakthrough at the collegiate level.
Between taking summer classes, navigating the best local bump in Shreveport, driving all the way to Houston Texas for an invite-only Pro workout session with an Ex-NBA legend, bouncing back home for Pro-Am's: Kenner league & Goodman, exclusive bumps at Georgetown, DeMatha, and 1v1s with top DMV prospects at BCCC gave him a diverse range of competitive atmosphere. The knowledge gained in that time span, coupled with the film studied from the season prior, helped tailor a strict skill & fitness regiment to follow. The grind started from sun up to sun down, religiously everyday without wavering. As soon as he touched down on campus that fall he knew what he had to do. Chase finished his junior year as DPOY Summit League leader in steals (8th in the nation-D1, 2nd all-time school history), 2nd in assist to turnover ratio (3rd in the conference), 11th in the conference in scoring, & Louisiana Sports Writers Association Honourable mention. Betting on himself, he then transferred in his last year of eligibility to attend the University of Pittsburgh, in the Big East Conference.
After his college career, he was blessed to step into his dream job as an Professional Overseas Basketball Player. 15 years later after playing in Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Colombia, Panama City, China and now Morocco, he has fully embodied what it means to be a Pro. Alongside playing, Chase continued to train other athletes just like himself, coaching youth teams & hosting events around the world, and classes for individuals who want to feel the Pro experience.
There were so many valuable lessons learned throughout these different stages but the most important was, the desire & determination to win requires full commitment, relentless drive, and unequivocal belief that the work will do the talking. The formula was birthed early and the brand has been developing ever since. CHASE ATHLETICS was created to embody the mindset of a champion by hunting for success, making a conscious choice to focus on the end goal. His calling has always been to help others see the best in themselves, bridge gaps between mind & body, and inspire like minded individuals who need guidance. The struggles he endured inspired him to teach people that upholding the standards for excellence will ensure victory over your fears and short comings.
